Hard to see on the scan but it looks like poor handling which caused those folds and there are a couple of minor tears as well.

8.0/8.5 leaning toward the latter.

Jeez, I need to stop looking at these books at night before going to bed. I cannot believe I missed that tear. The other tears look like they're at the bends, making 4 (the lower looks to have 1). Kinda dirty too, cleanable I suppose.

The front still looks great. but all that white can easily hide surface wear the scans can't show. I can see 2 possible tics, center spine, judging by the color break in the black line framing the FC.

 

As is with the 4 non-production tears in mind (1 being a 1/4"), 7.0-7.5 IMUO
