Question about eBay asking price for runs

How do people stay in business pricing runs of common books like this?

Is there a couple issues in this run that go for several hundred dollars each in 8.5-9.0? If so I'd like to know as I already have most of these issues and even buying them recently I don't think I spent more than 5-15% of his asking price.

AND the lot is missing 300!

The only issue that could potentially reach a hundred dollars raw are I think 238 and 300 (which is not there).
