PGM ASM 252

I picked up a run of ASM today and this was included.

I am on the road so sorry about the pics , they are from my phone.

I was just curious If this would be slab worthy as I am new to the graded comics thing.

I think that's a result of the production trimming/cutting process. Usually when you see one, you see a whole row. Might be a little unsightly, but if that's what it is it's a production flaw.

 

Oh yeah. And the print seems be upside down. That's a big production flaw :insane:

Thanks for the feedback so far, much appreciated. I also noticed on closer look, look at the centerfold page at the bottom, looks like it was stapled or

Something.

 

I think the small holes are produced by some kind of grippers which hold the paper in the printing process. You don’t see them in books or better printed magazines because those are cut out, while I think to save material (paper) in cheaper printed material, like comic books used to be, they maximized the use of paper. :)

Yup. IF THAT"S WHAT THOSE ARE, they don't count against the grade. It's a result of its production.

 

In its raw form, buyers MIGHT be turned off by it if they're very particular. But if it's in a slab, no one knows they're there (speaking of any book, not just this one)
