Is that a spine roll or a split at the bottom? looks like a 3.5/4 but if that a split I'd say 2.0/2.5 but if that is the case it likely the best damn 2/2.5 out there

If not for tape looks nice. I would say G/VG 3.0 because tape downgrades.

from what I can see, I am guessing the cover is completely detached because I don't see the staples and the cover is taped back to the book? If that was the case, the note should have been "cover reattached with tape"? but given what we have here, I am guessing 3.5

Looks like the cover is detached at both staples and the tape is holding it on.

That would affect the grade a lot.

Let me chime in with a 2.5. The tape pulled it down from a 3.5 for me. The cover itself looks really nice otherwise. Depending on the bottom of the spine if that's a roll or a split.

The cover is attached at the bottom staple. Not sure about the top. The book isn't in front of me right now. The bottom of the spine is not a roll, it's a split.

 

Any other guesses before I reveal?
