NOTES: 1st THANOS

 

GRADE: 5.5 (FN-)

 

DETAILS: Good color & gloss. A couple of creases near the edges on cover & interior. Some yellowing and minor discoloration, especially near the title strip. Minor edge wear and dings. Some slight indentation/pressure marks. A solid middle of the road copy with good eye appeal. Flat and tight, no spine roll, ready for CGC.

ISSUE: TALES TO ASTONISH #27 SOLD!!!

 

NOTES: 1st Hank Pym

 

GRADE: .5 -1.0 (PR/FR)

 

DETAILS: Structurally this book is a lot closer to a 1.0, maybe even a tad higher. But the big chunk out of the front left of the cover is the elephant in the room. It's still attached loosely at both staples. Obvious heavy wear and tear. Surprisingly, not a whole lot of Marvel chipping. It's been read and loved and it's still holding together.

DETAILS: Another book with a chunk out of the front cover. Structurally sound. Attached at both staples and holding together well. Major edge wear and creasing, slight chipping along the edges. Overall wear and tear. Minor spine roll. Good low grade filler/reader key issue.

NOTES: 1st TALIA AL GHUL

 

GRADE: 5.5 (FN-)

 

DETAILS: This summer's other hottest bubble book. This is a nice copy with a few minor issues. Water stain in the bottom right corner. Long, vertical color breaking crease along the right edge. Some minor edge wear, creases, dings. And the back cover is tanning. But it still has good color and eye appeal. For some reason, always a tough book to find.

 

PRICE: $50 shipped. (Hard book to price. Only comparable I could find was a copy BIN on Ebay for $100. I don't think it's near that mark yet, but it's DEFINITELY undervalued by guide.)

NOTES: 1st FIN FANG FOOM

 

GRADE: 1.8 - 2.0 (GD-/GD)

 

DETAILS: Hate to get rid of this one. Mostly because I haven't had my hands on many copies over the years. Lot of edge and spine wear on this copy. Smudges on the lettering on the front cover. There is a 1" square missing from the 1st page that doesn't affect the story in any way. There is also a 1" tear on the back cover. Overall wear and tear, but holding together pretty well.
