I'm thinking it's more in the 6.5 to 7.0 range.

 

There's a lot of rounding to the top and bottom of the spine, a small hole at the spine by the lower staple. Is there a spine split at the bottom?

No, just a tiny chip out, maybe 1/16" on the spine.

Not rounding, looks like chipping. 6.5.
