The Grateful Thread: Best acquisitions from buds this past year...

What I propose doing here is more of Thanksgiving treat to all my geek board-buds. This is the thread where you can strut your stuff and be a ham without lookin' like a turkey at the same time!

 

Criteria: Post your Top Five favorite acquisitions this year (since Jan. 1, 2012) and publicly acknowledge the person(s) who sold them to you. It doesn't have to be all comics (it can include OA, pulps, extortion photos, etc.), but it precludes auction sales because of the impersonal nature of those purchases.

 

I'll start this off by thanking my buddy GAtor for this beauty...

 

 

Secondly, my good buddy Bedrock provided several books I'd been seeking, including this long sought after grail...

I recently acquired these from an extremely good guy, Comichut. Stan has one of the "coolest" collections I have ever seen.

 

 

 

From Michael (Alanna), whom has a very similar taste in books. Some of his acquisitions this year have made me very jealous and he knows to which books I'm referring.

 

 

From Jimbo, whom has taken the time to tutor me in the way or Atlas books. I'm very grateful Jim.
