Does anyone know how Canadians reacted to the Pre-Code books that gained "notoriety" during SOTI and the "events" that followed? Were their reactions similar to those in the U.S.?

The response was similar in many countries that imported American crime and horror comics of the period. Legislation was passed in response to violent crimes by juveniles that was attributed to the reading of these objectionable comics.
