I loved it when WEBHEAD tried to take over for Oakland (i think he was in time out) and utterly botched the b-day thread job.

 

He threw up a b-day thread for a guy who hadn't posted in 4 years.

Stranger things have happened though.

 

I saw in the CGC/CI thread one guy with an '02 date and 27 posts suddenly started posting. Everyone thought he was a shill.

Yeah, I don't get the texture thing either. Still haven't seen the new Spidey. I thought the costume in the Rami movies was good.

I finally saw the new Spidey film a few days ago.

 

Not a horrible film, but saddening because of how much better it could have been.

 

Like Dice mentioned in his thread, they are completely missing the essential character and why he was so cool in the comic books.

 

I want the irreverent, smart-aleck, cocky, jumps-before-he-looks Spidey.

Yeah, I'm not in a big rush. I still haven't seen Spidey 3, just bits & pieces.

 

My daughter kinda-sorta likes the Avengers, so I'm good watching that for my comic movie fix for now.
