A very relative question, this started from a convo I had with C-Raider 1 a while back

 

Who are your top 5(modern artists, alive or no longer with us)? All opinionated, no right or wrong answers (thumbs u

 

Here's mine, no particular order:

 

1.David Finch--the master of detail. If you've ever seen him sketch in person, you can see how talented and fast he really is. We have dubbed him "the machine"--he takes no breaks at cons, 9am to 5pm sketching for his fans

 

2. Chris Bachalo/J Scott Campbell--personal faves

 

3. Michael Turner--didn't truly recongnize his talent until he was no longer here :( You can tell a Turner page/piece instantly

 

4. Segovia/Tolibao/Mico--3 way tie

 

5. Gabrielle Dell'otto--A cover Picasso imho
