wow, is that 'equinox' in the bottom right corner ? i remember reading a spider-man comic with him as the villain when i was a kid, but i dont think your art was from that story ?

Yes, MTU 23 was his first appearance, IIRC.

MARVEL PREMIERE #16 PAGES 16-17 (July 1974) by Larry Hama (his 1st work at Marvel) and Giordano, featuring the 2nd appearance of Danny Rand/Iron Fist. These two pages show a portion of the origin of Danny Rand becoming Iron Fist.

 

It's interesting to look at all these "two-pages-on-one board" pieces to see how each of the artists approached the matter creatively. Some really nice and unique work, but financially, unfortunately for the artists, two for the price of one.
