Disappointed on ebay yesterday

We don't actually disagree. I mostly put my bids in at the end too. I just don't think "the end" needs to be the last 10 seconds - where if you have problems with the internet you are screwed. The last 4-5 minutes seems to me to be just as effective. And leaves time to go find a working computer, grab your cell phone, etc...

 

Yeah, I think I'll start entering my bid at 4-5 minutes before.

It might sound silly, but Ebay is as much trouble as good, buy elsewhere, you'll do fine in the long run.

 

Where do you buy, if not ebay?

 

I also bid on Comiclink, and I've bought a few items. But things seem to go slow on comiclink, and at my age I'm looking for more immediate gratification.

 

I've avoided Heritage because the buyer's premium is so high.

 

My favorite place to buy is comic conventions, but my family life doesn't give me much time to go to conventions very often.
