18. Strange Tales #144 VF/NM $55

 

Nary a flaw on this cover. No big spine ticks, no stresses. No creases. Nice color pop.

I have it down in the 9.0 range due to the back cover being pretty tanned. Interior pages are probably OW/W or OW.

20. Tales of the Unexpected #32 9.0 potential? $65

 

Bought this from skypinkblu here on the boards. I'll just repeat the original description from when I bought it:

 

"Another Bakerstown copy, Fantastic color and gloss, a very tiny tear lower edge, white pages, not perfectly flat, otherwise it would be at least a 9.0. Not sure what to grade it."

 

SPB was right, outside of the very pressable wave and the tiny tear in the lower edge this is a great book. There are only 2 on census and the highest is an 8.0. This certainly equals it now, and could better it.
