Hey guys

 

I am drawing a total mental blank re a war/air fighters styled book. All I can remember is the cover and I might have many of the details wrong. But I think:

 

It has a buxom young brunette in a green dress descending under parachute with an orange background. Maybe a aeroplane coming at her from In the plane of the picture??

 

I am sure you guys will answer quickly as it is a well known cover. I just can't for the life of me remember the title.

Sounded like a WIngs cover, but the only brunette in a green dress I could find was this one...

That is close. Very close, but not it. I might have the colours wrong. The mind is a funny thing.

 

I believe a copy was posted for sale in the forum recently and even a mid grade restored copy was going for several thousand dollars.

Only 28 on census looks like I will on the hunt for a while

Unless you need it in a specific higher grade range, I think you're more likely to find it raw than slabbed. Overstreet doesn't break it out (at least they didn't used to? haven't bought a guide in a few years), so it was under the radar for quite a while.
