Battle trading card set was produced by Topps in 1965, highlighting the graphic violence of World War II. The Battle cards were painted by Norman Saunders, Maurice Blumenfeld, Ed Valigurski, and Bob Powell. Inserted in every wax pack was a cloth-like military emblem patch. These insignia patches are probably one of the most difficult chase sets to complete, as they were poorly made. The emblem stickers were usually printed out-of-register, miscut or had colors bled onto them from other patches that were printed at the factory.
