With seller limits now.

According to the charming person in customer support - who was the supervisor - EVERYONE will have seller limits by the end of 2013. If you don't have them now, you will

What are your limits and why are they imposing them?

No limits here. $52K since 2003. :acclaim:

This is wrong, because I sold things before then:

Sales to date: $323,122.57

Transactions: 17591

First eBay Sale: 11/01/2001

With seller limits now.

Those SUPERVISORS are worthless. I spoke with one yesterday and all he did was talk over me and interrupt the entire time.

Sales to date: $2,262.57

Transactions: 24

First eBay Sale: 11/06/2012

Am I in the Twilight Zone here?

Everyone is posting their sales to date but nobody has posted their LIMITS.

Does anyone have any seller limits showing on their seller dashboard?

I have been on eBay since 1998, I have not sold nearly as much as you, Dan, but I've sold a bunch. I have NO limits listed...as a matter of fact, they offered me 5,000 free listings this month (I sold 108 items last year) ...if I use the 5,000, someone can shoot me, you have my permission.

Help!

I'm on the phone with eBay customer "support" who informs me that all sellers will have seller limits. Please let me know ASAP what your seller limits are. PMs are fine.

Ridiculous. Just ridiculous.

This was a few years back, I had sold some make-up for someone. Ebay only allowed me to list 3 items under that category. I had sold items under make-up in the past without any fuss. However, that time I could not list the 4th item.

So I had called ebay and they told me that I don't sell enough in that category so ebay limited my account. The person on the phone could not tell me how many I can sell or what my limit was in that particular category. It was crazy, especially since the customer service rep. could not explain to me exactly what I was allowed to sell and if I was restricted in any other categories. I believe that it is done by computer based on key words or products. Maybe they do it to deter counterfeit products being sold in bulk. I am not really sure but the person on the phone should be able to handle those calls better.

It is frustrating to say the least but I don't believe this is a new restriction. But then again, what do I know.

Curious, were you listing in a different category or a designer product?

One thing that was odd, I signed in from my husband's computer since mine was not working and had to undergo 20 questions, because I was LISTING from an "unknown" computer.

I'm so happy people are posting in purple and green:) :cloud9:
