Thanks everyone - it has been returned to the seller as not as described.

 

I paid FMV for a FN, which it clearly isn't. The seller concerned has a reputation for no-fuss refunds, so I'll just be out the cost of shipping across the Pacific twice. :cry: Cost wise, it was actually marginal whether I returned it or sold it as a lower grade, but I thought the principle was more important.

Just to close the loop on this one, I returned the book and got a full refund including international shipping both ways because of the grading oversight. With no prompting from me, it's now back on the market as a 4.5

 

Some sellers do it right. (thumbs u
