Greetings from Australia

The transition to life at New Norcia hasn't been easy and very little private time exists for outside endeavours. We only have one computer here and that is in the Abbot's office, a very old and slow machine. My desire to follow my old ways is almost completely gone though, so I don't feel sad. I will try and make the odd occassional post on my favourite boards when circumstances permit.

Simon often had difficulties in fitting in in certain areas of his life and his ability to interact with a like minded community of individuals gave him a great degree of comfort.

 

Interpretation: Civilization sucks so I'm going to be a monk.

 

Not that there is anything wrong with that...I'm sure it took some degree of courage to put all that you know in the past and to start life anew..

HIs brother insinuated that he had passed on, and gave no clue that his departure was merely familial. Presumably he meant that he wasn't likely to see Liam for the foreseeable future. He didn't bother to correct us on our misapprehension, either, the silly .

 

So, do they allow comic books in Dominican monasteries, then?

Some of you might have known my brother

 

could only have meant two things ;

 

1) The conclusion we all came to

2) The possibility that "Liam" went walkabaout to some Australian monestary to talk about the finer points of the first Russian Revolution.

 

But both implied that he wasn't coming back to these boards.

I knew it was a scam as very few Gregorian abbots would be called "Dominicus"

But I was busy trying to hunt down the pictures the little attention protitute used.

 

I wasn't smart enough to look at the code (have a 3-year old hurling plastic motorbikes at my head at the moment)

 

But I seemed to remember there was a site that did a mathematical breakdown of digital pictures and then went looking on the net for the same picture.

Anybody ever hear of it or have the URL handy ?
