Color touch?

Yup, it does look like some black sharpie was added around the bottom of that staple. Any bleed through on the inner cover?

 

The blacks just don't seem to match.....the "maybe" color touched part is more dull in color then the surrounding blacks.

I don't have the book in hand, but i'd bet my eye teeth it's color touched. Just wanted to hear the opinions of the boards.
