Desert Wind Comics is excited and honored to announce its first signing of 2013 with Kurtis Wiebe (writer) and Tyler Jenkins (artist) of the VERY HOT Peter Panzerfaust series.

 

This is the first time the two creators will be together in 2013 to sign. All comics signed will be eligible to be CGC graded with the Signature Series label. The cost to have your comic signed by each creator and CGC graded is $50.00 per book. This price does not include the CGC $5 processing fee and return shipping.

 

The signing will be taking place on Saturday, March 9th in Las Vegas, Nevada in the DWC office. The mail-in submission deadline for this signing will be Monday, March 4th. Submission deadline is coming up this weekend. We will be accepting books at Emerald City for this signing. Check for DWC around the CGC booth.

 

For those not understanding the savings potential here. If you get the book signed by Kurtis at Emerald City you will then have to submit the book to CGC for grading at Emerald City. You will be paying grading fee, form fee and UPS return shipping which would be a minimum of $43.00 for everything. And if you want to add Tyler at a later date you would have to pay that total all over again for a total of $86.00 spent. But if you submit to the DWC signing or hand us your book at Emerald City to get signed the next weekend the minimum cost would be $65.00 using UPS return shipping. BUT the book is signed by BOTH creators! So you save $21.00. SImple math.

For those of you who submitted books for this signing, everything got signed this past weekend. We will be double checking forms and shipping the books off to CGC by Tuesday.

 

I can also tell you that DWC has made special arrangements with both Kurtis and Tyler to have copies of upcoming issues double signed and CGC graded. These books will be available for pre-order in the DWC webstore and will be available to order 60 days prior to the issue being published. This will be a great way to get your signed copy without having to wait several months to see them both at a show.
