Columbia Gem of comics #1 page count?

How often is page count wrong on GCD or twomorrows?

 

I recently purchased Columbia Gem of comics #1 which has 16 leaves left of staple and 12 leaves right of staple for 60 total pages including covers. However, both GCD and twomorrows list it as 68 pages.

 

All of the individual story pages as listed in GCD and TMs ARE included in the 60 pages.

One of the 4 missing pages on the right has about a 1/4" stub whereas the others are somewhat less, to almost unnoticeable .

I don't see evidence of glue holding the extra pages in although the staple would hold them in anyway.

 

Is this one of those places where they are wrong or did someone just not like the add pages? If it wasn't 16/12 I don't think I would question it at all.
