Pressing Ain't Nothin' But Restoration Misspelled!

I didn't read all the posts, so this might have been covered. But I think you overestimate the pressing process. There is NO way to get a 9.0 up to a 9.8. Just doesn't work that way. Pressing doesn't fix color breaks, only "some" creases. And it will decrease a crease, but not make it go away entirely. At least that's what I've seen. So I don't think you need to worry about everyone's collection reaching 9.8s, etc. Just my two cents.

 

I do believe if the book is taken apart, pressed and reassembled, that should be considered restoration...
