Peter Panzerfaust #7 Grading question

How much do the spots along the spine take away from the grade? I didn't notice them until I got home, I was planning on submitting it before I took a close look at it.

They take away quite a bit. It's not worth submitting with those there. I'd probably call it a FINE.

is this a printing issue? I've seen this on other Image books.

I was wondering the same thing. I also have a Nowhere men #3 with similar markings.

I was assuming they were color loss from getting scraped or stuck to something. If they're a printing defect, I wouldn't punish it as much.

I've a copy just like this but wouldn't submit it as I've another that doesn't have the defects.

 

Wouldn't bother getting that graded unless you weren't looking to sell on or as an investment.

Im not submitting that copy, Im just going to try and sell that one on ebay. I was just trying to figure out at grade to put on it. Luckily I bought multiple copies of that book, my other ones don't have those markings.
