This is a fantastic 1940s pulp illustration by artist Fred Humiston who is known for his illustrations for Weird Tales.

 

Pen and ink on board with white painted highlights. Board is 14" x 16" and image is 11" x 12.5". Image is in excellent condition. Board has a few edge creases and two 1cm tears.
