Hugh Jackman's Wolverine.

:sumo:

I know you have a crush on the guy but Wolverine, he ain't. :makepoint:

He's like the fantasy, emo, Twilight version of Wolverine.

Blasphemy I tell you :sumo:

Don't make me go over there and beat you up :slapfight:

The entire cast of Mystery Men, with William Macy as The Shoveler leading the way. I've been half in love with The Bowler for years now....

speaking of Ian Mckellen,

how about Alec Baldwin as The Shadow. Sometimes I feel like im the only person who like that piece of movie.

Count me as a fan of the movie and Alec Baldwin as the Shadow. I own it on DVD and watch it a few times a year. I'm a sucker for that time era and just enjoy the whole feel of it, except for the scenes with Tim Curry.

He's nothing like that sissy @$$ Edward.

And everything like that sissy Jacob.

:sumo:

Jacob got nothing on Wolverine.

He's just as bad as Edward.

Wolverine is #1 in my book :headbang:

Anyway, for the rest of the actors.

Here's my list:

Michael Fassbender as Magneto (I thought he was better than Ian McKellen)

Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark (He totally owns that role)

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (I don't care what some "fanboys" say about him,to me he is Wolverine :sumo: )

Karl Urban as Judge Dredd (I really liked him as Dredd,I think he's better than Stallone)

Patrick Stewart as Professor X (I can't picture anyone else to play him than Picard himself)

Ron Pearlman as Hellboy (He looks so much like Hellboy,It's both scary & awesome)

Christopher Reeves as Superman(To me he's still the perfect Superman to this day)

Christian Bale as Batman (I think he's the best Bruce Wayne/Batman on film as of right now)

Heath Ledger as the Joker (I didn't think anyone would surpass Jack Nickholson's Joker, but Ledger proved me and everyone else wrong.

He made that role his.)

When I first saw the subject line of this thread Christopher Reeves came immediately to mind and I think wins it nearly hands down.

Honorable mentions:

Christian Bale as Batman

Downey as Tony Stark (Not a dead ringer for the comics version, but very likable, cool and compelling in the role)

Patrick Stewart as Prof. X

Arnold as Conan

ScarJo as Black Widow (I could watch her play that role all night)

Chris whatever as Captain America (wish he was a little bulkier, but I think he has the look and played it well)

Chris whatever as Johnny Storm

Agree with Dale Roberts on the actor that portrayed Nightcrawler in the X-men movies. In fact he may be the top of the honorable mentions for me. Everything looked and sounded right about that characterization.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Karl Urban as Judge Dredd.

He was absolutely fantastic and completely nailed the character.

Stallone was a better Judge Dredd :baiting:

Before he took the helmut off, with his jaw, I agree...and I'm not joking.

You may be, I'm not. I'm 100% serious...I don't know how she can call herself a Wolverine fan.

I really liked Bryce Dallas Howard as Gwen Stacy...thought she had the look completely nailed.

I also liked Hit Girl in Kick ***BUTT***

Also, what's his name from the Matrix (agent smith) as V in V for Vendetta.

I did not like Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw, not for acting but just not the character I imagined.

james purefoy who is a brilliant actor in anything he does and is great on the show with kevin bacon the following played solomon kane to perfection.

its sad to me how they did this movie. by the time it was released here it was already two years old. very good movie and again a perfect solomon kane.

You want to repeat that bub? :sumo:

All because of he's 6'2' not 5'3'' (shrug)

To me,as long as he looks like Wolverine,he's Wolverine no matter what.

(if he was 5'3' I would still play Wolverine)
