...Anyone know of any reasonable hotels near the convention center with availability left for Sat night?...I've been trying to score a room with Marriott with my points and they are all sold out ( actually the waterfront still has rooms avail for $325.00 but I think I'll pass),...the only ones I can find are the ones by the airport which are about 7/8 miles away....don't really want to stay that far but time is running out....any ideas?

...Marriott has a shuttle service,...but I don't know how late it runs,...I guess I'll have to make reservations at the airport before they are used up too,...I just can't bring myself to pay $325.00 for a room in town,..and they wanted 37,000 anytime points to book it and I only had 26,000 frown.gif

How much are the rooms at the airport going for?

...not sure,..I'm using points,...like 15,000 points so I'd say around 179-199...

That's a damned rip-off. I can't imagine spending $400 just to go from Philadelphia to Baltimore and stay a single night.

I booked at the 2 star Best Inn for 65 bucks a night. It's just off I-95 in Frankford, nine miles from the Baltimore Convention Center. Room in the city would be nice but the budget says no way.

I got a room at Hampton Inn Baltimore-Washington International Airport. Rate per room per night: 71.10 USD. 6-8 mile taxi ride from there. Not bad.
