Walt Disney 1-30 pre Barks

Bronty,

I am looking for a WDCS #8 in CGC VF+ or better (that's my threshold

for WDCS 1-31). My own placeholder copy is in Florida right now, but

it is not going to make the cut. I already have a #10 in 9.0 but would

also very much like to upgrade that if possible.

Btw., Metropolis sold a Mickey Mouse Magazine V1#2 file copy this

Summer for a bargain price. If the owner happens to be reading this and

would be willing to sell it for 2.5 times what he/she paid, please pm me.

V1#2 is one of less than 10 issues I need to complete a VF run.

Its going to be tough seeing as how there aren't any in the census higher than a 7.0 foreheadslap.gif

In fact you may want to give up on your search and just sell your Disneys takeit.gif

Completing a CGC 8.5+ WDCS run could well take the rest of my life.

However, I've had amazingly good luck finding high grade Mickey

Mouse Magazines through the CGC boards and am hoping to get in

touch with owners of WDC&S as well some day. Will pay anywere from

the higher of $2,000 and 3-5 times guide for books (VF+ up) that will

improve my collection (see first page of this thread).

Is there a website out there that gives a comprehensive list of the early Disney comics? I ask this due to the fact that I see all these awesome covers, but I'm not sure what the numbers are as most comic sites would list them (i.e. Metropolis doesn't call them Vol. 2 #3). I know that I could figure it out with some basic math, but that just wouldn't be American... I want my answers easy grin.gif
