Question about CGC cases...

I just received a comic in the mail from an auction site. I noticed the right side of the case is partially "loose" I guess I would say. The rest of the case is tight. Does this affect the book's accepted grade at all?

Can you be more specific and define what you mean by 'partially loose' ?

The two halves of the outer cover are not sealed so there may be some play in there. As long as all 4 posts are snug it's probably fine.

The post are fine, just seemed to have more play than the rest of my graded books. Feels like I can pry it open if I wanted too.

You probably could - but you'd crack the corner posts in the process. There's a bit of variance in how tight the sides are, so I wouldn't worry.
