Silver Surfer
I've never seen that cover before. I've just started buying a few Marvels on cover appeal alone, and that one is definitely going on my list. Amazing copy! Issue #20 is even better. sfilosa
Super pick up. I was really hoping no one bought that, as I wanted to try to work out a package deal with Doug. Congrats on an awesome book.
namisgr
To bump one of the best threads, and since I had the scan for another thread, here is an old one from the Bowling Green pedigree. It was my good fortune to acquire several more books from this ped recently, and I'll post a couple here soon. This one has colors to swoon over:
sfilosa
You sure have a lot of good stuff. And the colors do look unreal.

nik
Definately cool to see non super-heroe pedigrees.

namisgr
Sorry about how my scanner shows the warps on the CGC inner wells - as a consequence, I'll post just one of the Bowling Green ST that I picked up. The BG pedigree is a relatively lesser one, in that none of the earliest silver age keys seem to be represented in high grade. Nevertheless, from 1965 and thereafter, this pedigree contains the brightest, most intense and best color-preserved Marvels I have ever seen for this time period (disclaimer: I don't own any Curator books). Simply put, these books must be seen to be believed. A miniscule front cover LLC stress line and barely perceptible URC color break keep this one in the affordable range:
sfilosa
Great Cover and nice book. I only have one Bowling Green book, but want to pick up a few more.
143ksk
This isn't exactly a pedigree, but it is a Harvey File Copy so I thought I could justify its inclusion here Edited March 29, 2005 by 143ksk

sfilosa
The Western Penn Avengers are very nice. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up a few more when ComicLink listed them. That was such a beautiful day, seeing all these great books, and pretty much having the pick of the litter.
Silver Surfer
You betcha. This Avengers #45 has been listed for some and I have been watching and watching until I finally couldn't take it anymore. I don't have any slabbed pedigree's at the moment so this should be a nice start. Will look nice next to my TOS#84 which is also a Super Adaptoid cover.
