PGM - Amazing Spiderman #1

[Spider-Dan]

This one has 1 big hole in the cover and a few smaller ones, along with some rips and tears, tape pull between Spidey and Torch, and some chipping. A lot of tape on the inside front cover. Spine looks rough, but there are no major splitting. Cover is still attatched, and staples are holding all the way through. Back cover looks much nicer, but still has issues. Despite all that.... Its still a Spidey 1

 

Scanner sucks, so Im hoping the pics are good enough.

I'm trying to get better with estimating grades, so this shouldn't hold too much merit: I'm think maybe a 1.5?

 

Hopefully others will chime in so I can see more experienced opinions.

1.5/1.8 a lot of marvel chipping spine wear is what sucks the most on this i think. Tape pieces missing, Page quality looks great overall. It is very very presentable. Great to have

That's still a sweet book! 1.8 with a minor shot at 2.0.

I say that because a couple years back there was a beat up

Hulk #1 with about 1/4 of the cover torn away and it still had a CGC 2.0

I’d say it’s between 1.5 and 1.8, a FRG to G-.

To me there are too much issues for giving it a full G 2.0, but as you said, it‘s a Spidey #1…

2.0 - I've seen rattier get a 2.0.

I was going to actually say 2.0 until I saw the inside front cover.

 

That's just way too much tape for me to give it any more than a 1.5
