Spine wear, cb crease center on back spine, creases along spine. Staining on back on center outer edge or slight water damage, Soft corners, A sub crease near dolls arm.

I'm at 6.5 with a chance at 7.0. The "water stains" are finger prints from grubby hands that read this book, as found on MANY comic books in that area. No huge ugly spine ticks, sharp corners, bright colors, and this book presents very well. Do any of you own 5.5's??? doh!

That's a weak 7.0 - mainly due to foxing which CGC doesn't seem to think is a flaw.

The cbc at the top right is similar to the one at the bottom right of the posted book, but that looks to have an additional crease as well as some added wear on the bottom. The brightness of the image makes it a bit hard to judge thoroughly.

 

Still I would agree it looks nicer than a 5.5 - though not a 7.0 either IMHO. Probably 6.0- 6.5.

Thanks. I think I just needed some form of validation (any really) I haven't totally lost my mind.... :-D
