Interesting. While I agree the traditional green and yellow costume would look ridiculous, I think they should have made some kind of attempt towards it. A very dark green with some electric bolt trim and some kind of mask with protective lenses or something.

Yeah, once they realized there isn't a human being (who can act) large enough for that role, they went he SFX route and got someone who was a solid actor.

IMHO costumes should be kept as the original. New styles and updates are useless and not connected to the character.

I am going to say something that won't find agreement: the latest Scorpion's costume in ASM is not good looking. Better 'restyle' the old one, not change it.

It's clearly based on "Ultimate Electro," where he was about that shade of blue (sort of Watchmen "Dr. Manhattan"-style).
