What's going on along the top edge and that URC?

the top is a crease and i dont know what a URC is. the tear on the top is about 1/18th inch tear. by the way how come my likn to the scan is an actual link to click on and in your post the picture is automatically there in your post?

Look's to be a decent mid-grade book. Going off of the front cover only, and your little notes on the book, I will say a 6.0 too a 6.5
