A few Spideys.

Very impressive!!

You would like my 21 DIFFERENT Spiderman #1's from all around the world...

The ones from Turkey were the most difficult to get...

Great Pic!

Need to see them :wishluck:

Knew CAL's Iron Man and Sub Mariners would make it into this thread. I'm planning on hoarding as many copies of Iron Man 1 that I can. I think it is a stellar cover. I just need to start making enough money to be able to start buying them.

This thread has me puzzled. The times I've owned two copies of the same book have lasted exactly as long as it's taken to list one on here or ebay and sell it.

Why own more than one, unless one's slabbed and the other's a reader? (shrug)

Sometimes the lust for a particular book cannot be slaked by a single example, and persists even when the goal of acquisition has been met.

Plus of course the hoarder often has faith in the issue's future value.

Basically, you know how dragons are about gold?

Yeah doesnt make sense unelss they are extrmeely valuable...

I hoard foreign key books as they are next to impossible to locate and some are now fetching $250-$1000

There are certain books I can't help but purchase another copy just because I really appreciate it so much. But I try and stop at around 10-12 examples before it gets way out of hand.

Wait, that is somewhat of a contradiction from the post of yours I quoted.
