Help ID this Dan Jurgens art

3 posts in this topic

I bought a group of pages and there were two pieces I couldn't identify where they were printed. This is the Dan Jurgens page.

This is on three pieces of "half size" art board. Based on the dimensions, it looks like it might have been a foldout. I'm guessing it was in some kind of special issue. It has the DC copyright stamp on the backs and indicates that was copyrighted in 1990.

I think that this is an excellant piece of modern comics art. I'd love to find out where it was published. Can anyone help?

(And, no, it is not for sale.)

No, it's later than that. It's from the post-Byrne era. I've looked in Overstreet to find out if there is any Superman specials from that time (1990-1991), but haven't come up with any likely candidate, except possibly Superman #50 (which I don't have).
