What are you spending your tax return on?

The smart people should owe just a little because they aren't fans of giving the Government an interest free loan throughout the year.

Our income tax return this year went right into savings to help replenish it from the over $4,000.00 in vet bills we had in November for one of our cats.
I applaud you, it's not easy spending money on furry family members, but if the roles were reversed, they would do it for us in a heartbeat

4k on a cat? Just go to the pet store and buy a new one just like it.

I only get one every other year when I can claim my little guy as an exemption. O/wise, I pay.

You realise it's the government giving you back your money, right? You're footing your own bill by not taking as much home each paycheck as you could.

Ours - which we're getting thanks to a massive family trust loss - is going towards my son's 529 plan

Yep...I never get money back. Always end up having to pay more every year. :tonofbricks:

Yes, I do realize that. It was meant to be playful.
