CGC Tape Position Is Cellophane Tape = to Archival Tape

My assumption is that it does....GEMMA anyone??

It should be in my opinion but I don't think that's the current policy.

I asked Paul Litch basically the same question on May 4th. He answered that CGC's position on archival tape has not changed and he implied that it is still a purple label. He also said that CGC is working on a policy revision but has nothing to annouce yet.

Thats what I assumed but, I wish CGC would confirm as much.

 

It seems silly that they would treat scotch tape and archival tape differently though.
