New Silver & Bronze Marvels/DC’s From C2E2 in Pedigree Comics June Grand Auction

1 post in this topic

The high grade books are continuing to come in for our upcoming June, 2013 Grand Auction. Slated to begin on the night of Monday, June 17th and last for ten (10) days until the night of Thursday, June 27th, the auction will have a few hundred choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver, Bronze and Copper Ages plus other genres and publishers. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure and press they will receive. We aggressively promote and advertize each Grand Auction on many online sites and trade publications and we also send periodic newsletters to all of our over 19,000 customers announcing the individual auction items. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every one of the lots will have no reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can check out over 100 ultra high grade comic books right now in the Auction Preview at www.PedigreeComics.com.

The newest group of books comes from a few different collections that we picked up at the C2E2 show in Chicago last month. The books, over 100, are at the CGC offices and will be certified and listed in the Auction Preview early next week. One collection consists of a fabulous group of 9.4 and higher Silver Age DC’s out of St. Louis, Missouri. Another features all super high grade Bronze Age Marvels out of Cleveland, Ohio and the last is a spectacular run of X-Men #94 through #143 out of Green Bay, Wisconsin, almost all in 9.8 and 9.6 condition. Here are the highlights from the C2E2 purchases:

Please make sure to check the Latest News of the web site plus the CGC boards next week (Friday, May 22nd) for the latest news and additions to the June Grand Auction, including all the grades from the 100 plus comics from C2E2 awaiting certification.

We will continue to accept consignments for the auction until midnight on Thursday, June 20th so check the site for consignment instructions and get your books in now.

Consignors maximize their profits selling in a Grand Auction, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular site inventory listing and we do not saturate the market with the same material over and over every month. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the upcoming June Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the June Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
