Actually I haven't bought it yet. He has offered to sell it to me though. If I send it in to CGC will it grade Universal? If not I don't want anything thing to do with it. Thanks.

I'd personally avoid it. If the seller guarantees no restoration, has a return policy, and you think it's a good price then it's up to you.

I agree with the other posters, when I saw the right edge and how the pages were showing so much I immediately thought "spine realignment". I think there might be a chance that the centerfold tore when he tried to realign it.

 

It has a fairly nice look to it though so if the price is right......... maybe price it like a 3.5 and you'll do fine.
