I'm not really sure where this item is from but I'm thinking it might have been a part of a rack display since there are built in L-shaped brackets on either end (see the pic) that could attach on. Anyway this is a 1950s or 1960s piece for sure. Very cool plastic display piece. The classic DC logo in raised letters painted a vivid red. All original from what I can tell. Measures 5" x 1". Nice overall condition and great for display. $125 $85 shipped
