Do you know what the P.L.S 40 (or 50) on some of the books signifies? hm

 

I bought the books from David Alexander (http://www.dtacollectibles.com) years ago and he had said that all those books came from an Army base in Egypt. He called it the "Egyptian collection" :)

 

The marking probably have something to do with that.
