I bought 60 books from a very reputable dealer, one of largest on internet, all graded NM.

 

They are all from 1975-1989.

 

All were submitted for grading with a 9.8 threshold for slabbing.

 

Note: I did not review before submitting, I just fired away because I thought it would be an interesting experiment.

 

How many will come back as 9.8's? Give a # or percentage.

Half have been graded and sent back, I am waiting on the other half.

 

At the end of the experiment I will give the tally. Should be a week or so.

FOUR, it's the lowest possible outcome and you had high expectations hoping for a NM to grade 9.8. I'd say if you got more than that, you did OK.

 

Even number.

You already have more than one.

I'm at Comics,Toons and Toys in Tustin every wed at 11. (thumbs u

 

They have any Golden Age books there?

No it's only new releases there,I get my S.A/G.A and BA books from a chosen few on the boards. (thumbs u

I guessed based on information provided, to offer my opinion on what constitutes good and/or bad results might put me in someone's crosshairs depending on their like/dislike of this anonymous dealer.

 

 

just kidding

4 is alright

5 - 9 is ok

10 - 15 is good

over 15 is great
