originalisbest
Goodluck... That seems to be the toughest one of the trio. Your 18 looks very nice... Thanks, but that's mrmyst's copy, not mine! Might I say, all the books in your sig line are wonderful -- I have copies of only two of them, CSS 22 and MM 12. Would love a reform school girl or a teenage dope slaves! Twistty1
Oh yes sorry.... I was posting fast while at work... Thank you.... the RSG is big grail for me... I wanted the D copy for a long time and was finally able to make a trade for it this summer...

october
Whoa. A raw VG Venus 19 just sold for $1300 on eBay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/271111749006?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

I've so many bad experiences buying raw books over the last year, as you well know, that I would've loved to bid on that but would not have... That is a strong price though. Scrooge
Being discussed in another thread. If you look at the bids, preponderance of bids is around $575, not $1,300.

I put a snipe in for around that amount (it didn't register as there were other similar bids that were seconds earlier). I wasn't going to bid higher than that, though, which as you surmised was par for the course. The scan was enough to show that the book wasn't a VG. Kevin.J
The Gorgon issue is relatively new and I don't think it belongs in the romance thread. Awesome books man, that Ghostly Weird is in my top 10 all time favorite covers

While a great book, unfortunately this particular copy of #19 I fear, is going to be a case of too little value received for the $$ spent.

It has some staple tears, corner chip, etc.
originalisbest
if not VG, perhaps G/VG would be my guess, G+? Regardless of technical grade, the significant interior cover browning would be disheartening to many.

Mr.Illmannered
Illmannered got peeved and stopped at 5800. Forget that, I'll just keep my 9.0 of that issue. I went goofy on all the other high grade Harveys though...
Twistty1
Wow... I'm surprised, and sorry to hear that... someone really went after that book hard then... What other books did you get? Edited December 5, 2012 by Twistty1
