Thanks, but that's mrmyst's copy, not mine! Might I say, all the books in your sig line are wonderful -- I have copies of only two of them, CSS 22 and MM 12. Would love a reform school girl or a teenage dope slaves!

That is a nice looking book... I've so many bad experiences buying raw books over the last year, as you well know, that I would've loved to bid on that but would not have... That is a strong price though.

Being discussed in another thread. If you look at the bids, preponderance of bids is around $575, not $1,300.

 

I put a snipe in for around that amount (it didn't register as there were other similar bids that were seconds earlier). I wasn't going to bid higher than that, though, which as you surmised was par for the course. The scan was enough to show that the book wasn't a VG.

Agreed. While a great book, unfortunately this particular copy of #19 I fear, is going to be a case of too little value received for the $$ spent.

Just curious what you would grade it? It has some staple tears, corner chip, etc.
