Staples are clean, no rust stains. Very glossy despite scan.

Also, back cover looks like staining, but it isn't just some discoloration.

It does, scan is pretty accurate in that regard, not from moisture though.

I think it would press to a 7.5 at least. I would look carefully along the inside pages at the center, and especially the centerfold for any type of light moisture stains or light rusting on the inner staples.

 

That rippling and waviness looks like moisture damage but it's hard to tell from a scan. Still a cool looking book.

No moisture or staining not sure what caused the ripple.

 

Agree this would do well with a press. Thanks for responding.

 

My scanner seems incapable of showing gloss...but this book has a ton of gloss. Looks very fresh.
