PMG: Archie Annual #1 - 2 copies!!

Ok, I know it's frowned upon to put multiple copies in a grading thread, but in this case I think it's warranted.

 

It must be my lucky days as I just procured two copies of a book that Overstreet lists as Scarce (thank you flea market). Archie Annual #1, 1950 Edition

 

Anyway, they are both rough for sure, but complete. Both front covers are detached, and in the case of the rougher copy (#1) - the rear is completely detached as well. (technically Copy #2 is detached, but it is holding on by a few inches...) The interiors are in excellent shape on both.

 

The nicer copy (#2) only has one piece of tape on it whereas the other as copious amounts of it. Both spines seem to be in pretty rough shape. Thanks in advance!

 

P.S. Not sure if it was included with the original book, but Copy #2 had a loose piece of Archie stationary inside. I'm curious about where it came from. Scan to follow....

Did the letter originally come with the annual - as the cover seems to indicate there is one inside.

Copy 1 = 0.5

 

Copy 2 = 1.0 provided the book is complete.
