Obviously, some of the older books people are talking about might never have a 9.8 copy. For a mainstream BA Marvel superhero issue to not have a 9.8 copy is freaking crazy! Granted, they aren't very valuable books, at least the 105, so there are probably raw 9.8 copies out there but it's still insane to have ZERO 9.8's on the census. 103 is a pretty valuable issue. The 9.6 Suscha News copy that cheetah bought a couple years back went for well over 1k so a 9.8 copy would command a pretty good price but so far, nada

Marvel Spotlight #5 8/72 (1st Ghost Rider)

1 in 9.8

27 in 9.6, 66 in 9.4, 109 in 9.2

I know that was a tough one, but I found that surprising. Would have thought some more 9.6 or 9.4s would have been pressed into 9.8s. Obviously it's not that hard to find in nice shape, just almost impossible in pristine shape.

Avengers 29 is another tough one. Only 1 9.8 on the census. There are 8 9.6's but they are HARD to come by! I had a hell of a time even finding my 9.4 but i think there was a 9.6 in a recent Clink auction that i missed.

It's the black border, too easy for color-breaking creases.
