I want that Wolverine Nabisco 9.6 of yours.... damn wedding drained the coffers... My latest Nabisco won't be back from CGC Comic Storage until after Thanksgiving frown.gif

BTW... does the CGC case look like it has that many scratches or is that just the scanner amplifying small ones? It happens to some of mine from time to time. confused-smiley-013.gif

My auctions ending Saturday night! Thanks for bidding!

The Wolverine Nabisco 145 is fairly rare in that not too many comic collectors pulled the necessary 4 proofs of purchases from specified Nabisco products and capitalized on the freebie offer for this comic book. Most copies I've seen did not escape the handling common to giveaways that were shipped haphazardly and well read by children. The dark cover and spine are prone to color braking creases. It's the issue where he gets his metal back after Magneto ripped it out in X-men (1990s) # 25, so maybe it will have a lasting place in the modern semi-keys for collectors.

Darth,

I love the Wolverine #145 and the AXM #4 Variant but why are the census numbers so low? Is this a Marvel PQ issue? I can understand that it might be too early for the census to reflect the AXM issues but wouldn't Colussus comics have submitted a ton of these? Great website and I am seriously thinking about making a run on these.

SS - the Wolverine 145 Nabisco has been hard to come by in CGC modern caliber (9.6 and up) regardless of one particular seller who posts "NM/MT" copies 27_laughing.gif every week...needless to say...my copy did not come from him. I guess it could be because people who managed to secure one did not get a nice copy from Nabisco.

As for the AStonishing Xmen 4 variant, yes it is probably because it just came out so whoever submitted them to CGc does not have them back yet and the last census update was 8/24/04? So whoever slabbed these at Baltimore, it wouldn't reflect these in the census yet. I did not see a slabbed 9.8 up in any of the Baltimore booths. Maybe someone got one by Sunday night? But I don't see any posted on ebay since then.. only 2 other 9.6's

Good luck if you bid and thanks...
