nice I found 2 of them I had, makes and sad to realize they were not as good of condition as I thought they were!! I couldn't find any better copies way back in like 90 or whenever wizard, comics values monthly ,or overstreet identified it as being first Thanos!! I read iron man in the 80's but believe this issue was before my collectings days off of newsstand that is! Sad when you live in small towns where even the next city over doesn't have much!! PS. 8.0 and 8.5 Serious? That is why I can't grade lol I got some old comics back say x-men #8 and it graded only 8.0 but doesn't have those nicks or top little tear that the Iron Man #55 has?? Also funny I got back a book as a 9.4 which has a noticeable like impacted top spine corner which makes a crease(not color breaking but still very noticeable to me) yet the 9.4,not that I want them to lower it lol but still so confusing!! =(

CGC is confusing sometimes. Silver age books would definitely grade higher as you see with your x-men's. Sadly this is a bronze age book and expected to be in a little better shape for a NM-.but I wouldn't rule out a 9.0. I've seen 9.4's with worse tanning. :-D
