Very Hard to Find Wrightson Item!

 

While digging through some stuff today I came across this item that I'm

sure not very many collectors have seen. This book was a guide for those attending

the gallery show in 1977 and showcased some of Bern's best work of the day.

I had the chance to meet Berni about 15 years ago and he was great to talk to and signed as many items as you would put in front of him, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have the first 3 issues of Swamp Thing signed. The title of the illustration used for the book cover is titled "Coming Out Party" and it was done

With ink and magic markers.

That is one beautiful cover! Bernie Wrightson is one of my favorites. No one does horror better than Bernie! Do you still have those signed ST's? If so, you should get them graded. If not, take a pic and share with us.

Yes SW3D, I still have copies and will post pics soon. I doubt I will get them graded since they were signed a long time before cgc came into our hobby and I wild have to get qualified labels

I picked up this copy a few months ago. I'm thinking about getting it squished and graded.
